Bookings & Reservations

How do I book a tour with YKA GARLAND?
You can book a tour by browsing our packages on the website, selecting your preferred tour, and clicking "Book This Tour". Fill in your travel dates, number of travellers, and contact details. Our team will confirm your booking within 24 hours.
Can I book a tour for a group?
Yes! We specialise in group tours for families, friends, and corporate groups. Contact us at +91 90032 19220 or email ykatoursChennai@gmail.com to discuss group rates and customised itineraries.
How far in advance should I book my tour?
We recommend booking at least a few days in advance for day trips and attraction tickets, and 1–2 weeks ahead for weekend getaways, to ensure availability and better pricing. Peak season (Oct–Feb) bookings should be made even earlier.
Can I modify my booking after confirmation?
Yes, modifications are possible subject to availability and may incur a change fee. Please contact our support team at +91 90032 19220 as soon as possible to request changes. Changes made within 7 days of departure may not be accommodated.

Payments & Pricing

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept payments via Credit/Debit Cards, UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm), Net Banking, and bank transfers (NEFT/RTGS/IMPS). All online payments are secured with 256-bit SSL encryption.
Is a deposit required to confirm my booking?
Yes, a minimum deposit of 30% of the total tour cost is required to confirm your booking. The remaining amount must be paid at least 15 days before the tour departure date.
Are there any hidden charges?
No hidden charges. Our experience prices are clearly listed and include all items mentioned in the inclusions. Any optional add-ons (private guide, photography assistance, etc.) are clearly priced separately before you confirm.
Do you offer any discounts for early bookings?
Yes, we offer Early Bird discounts of up to 10% for bookings made 60+ days in advance. We also run seasonal promotions — follow us on social media or call us to know about the latest deals.

Tour Inclusions & Exclusions

What is typically included in an experience?
Most experiences include local transport (as per the itinerary), entry/attraction tickets where applicable, sightseeing as per the schedule, and a professional local guide. Weekend getaways also include one night of accommodation. Please check the individual experience page for exact inclusions.
What is not included in the price?
Items typically excluded include personal expenses, tips & gratuities, optional add-ons, meals not mentioned in the itinerary, and any items of a personal nature. Anything not listed under inclusions on the experience page is not covered.
Are meals included in the experience?
Meals are included only when specifically mentioned on the experience page. Many day trips and attraction tickets do not include meals, though your guide can recommend great local eateries along the way. Please check the inclusions before you book.

Cancellations & Refunds

What is the cancellation policy?
Our standard cancellation policy: 30+ days before departure – 10% cancellation charge; 15–29 days before – 25% charge; 7–14 days before – 50% charge; less than 7 days or no-show – 100% charge. Please read our full Refund Policy for details.
How long does a refund take?
Once your cancellation is approved, refunds are processed within 7–10 working days to the original payment method. Bank processing time may add 2–5 additional days depending on your bank.
Can I cancel my tour if there is bad weather or unforeseen circumstances?
In case of natural disasters, political unrest, or government-mandated travel bans, we will offer a full refund or free reschedule. For personal reasons, standard cancellation charges apply.

Travel Requirements

What documents do I need to carry for a weekend getaway?
For weekend getaways, carry a valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar, Voter ID, or Driving Licence) for every traveller including children. Your itinerary and booking confirmation will be sent to your registered email.
What do I need to carry for a day trip or to use an attraction ticket?
Just carry a valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar, Voter ID, or Driving Licence) for every traveller. Your e-tickets and booking confirmations are sent to you by email and SMS — simply show them at the venue or to your guide.
Is there an age limit for tours?
Our tours welcome travellers of all ages. However, some adventure-based or trekking tours may have minimum age or fitness requirements. These are clearly mentioned on the individual tour pages. Children under 12 may travel at discounted rates.
